The Second Generation of HDS
EOTech has just released the second generation of the HOLOgraphic Diffraction Sight – called the Series 500. Optically there are no changes – the same speed, accuracy, and vision gains. The sight package is now 33% lighter and shorter. We have enhanced the electronic feature sets, improved on the mechanical user interfaces, and made it much more compatible with night vision systems. The Series 500 HDS maintains its core ruggedness and durable construction while the environmental specifications have been enhanced.

 Sight co-witnesses with iron sights.  Iron sight axis typically positioned in lower 25% of the sight's heads-up display window. Cantilever mount attaches with finger operated nut to carry handle. The mount is machined from 7075aluminum with an anodized, flat black finish.

A.R.M.S.® Model  #39 A2 Plus Mount
The A.R.M.S.® A2 Plus mount locks into both the carry handle channel and the handle front support, utilizing two A.R.M.S.® self locking thumbnuts. This capability provides rigid support of the dovetail platform that is extended over the handguards; just like the patented SWAN® Super Extended Sleeve. The A.R.M.S.® A2 Plus also has a provision to mount a 2nd rail on the carry handle that adds the same look and capabilities as the famous A.R.M.S.®M16A1A2 mount, with an enhanced iron and optic see thru capability. This bi-level mounting capability offers multiple combinations of attachments, no tools required. The A2 Plus also features a brush breaker at the front to prevent branches and other objects from wedging between the handguards and the suspended rail. Optical and laser perfect parallel alignment are achieved, while eliminating heat and vibrations that may be experienced in barrel mounting systems.
